3 Relaxing DIY Beauty Treatments You Should Try Today

   

Natural beauty treatments are great because for starters, you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin. Not to mention that many natural beauty treatments are made with ingredients that you already have on hand, so they’re much less expensive. Here are a few of my favorites.

1. Exfoliate with baking soda

Exfoliating every few weeks is so good for your skin because it removes dead, dry skin and shines light on the more vibrant skin beneath. Make a thin paste with 4 teaspoons of baking soda and one tablespoon of water. Let sit for 2 minutes and then apply to a moisturized face, being careful around the eyes. After 3 minutes rinse clean with warm water.

2. Milk foot bath soak

Sometimes your tootsies just need a break and this is an ideal vacation for your feet. Add 4 cups of warmed whole milk to 2 tablespoons Epsom salts and 6 drops of lemon essential oil. Soak your feet for 20 minutes and then rinse. Afterwards, try this 7 step foot massage. Treating yourself to a foot massage at the end of each day is not only relaxing and a good way to unwind, but it’s also an ideal way to soothe tired feet. A foot massage can be relaxing to your entire body.

3. Olive oil deep hair conditioning mask

Beat 2 eggs and 3 tablespoons of olive oil and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for fragrance (optional). Apply to the root tips and then wrap the rest of your hair in a warm towel and rest for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
