Your eyes are your windows to the world. But as you age they can lose their vibrancy. Under eye bags, dark circles, puffy eyes, and wrinkles can become more prominent. But with a few simple age-defying tips your eyes can look 10 years younger.

1. Aloe Vera Gel

Keep a tube of aloe vera gel in the freezer. Let it sit for a few minutes and then squeeze a few icy drops onto your finger and massage around your eyes. Aloe is a great moisturizer for aging skin, especially tender skin around the eyes.

2. Try Chilled Tea Bags

Brew tea bags and then place them in the refrigerator until they are cool to the touch. Green tea is particularly good because it has anti-inflammatory compounds that can reduce puffiness and any swelling around the eye. Green tea also contains large quantities of polyphenols, a class of bioflavonoids that have been shown to have anti-aging qualities. Close the eyes and apply for 10 minutes on days when your eyes look especially tired.

3. Look For Eye Creams With Caffeine

Caffeine is good for your skin because it has antioxidant properties and it protects the skin from free radical damage. Topical creams containing caffeine are good for de-puffing under eye bags naturally.

4. Try Not to Rub Your Eyes

If you have itchy eyes as a result of allergies, try and avoid rubbing them. The friction can inflame the eyes. Take an anti-histamine instead.

5. Wear Sunglasses

Protect your eyes from sun damage by covering them with large sunglasses.
