Are you tired of seeing that same old scar discoloring your skin? Does your scar make you feel self conscious? Scars don’t have to be permanent and you don’t always have to take drastic measures to remove them. If you treat them early enough, you can try these natural remedies:
1. Try lemon juice.
Lemon juice contains alpha hydroxy acids that replace dead and damaged skin cells. And just like they’re good for making your skin look younger, alpha hydroxy acids can reduce the appearance of scars. Add one teaspoon of lemon juice to a cotton ball and apply to your scar. Let the cotton ball sit on the impacted area for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
2. Give raw honey a try.
Raw honey both moisturizes your skin and fades scars at the same time. Mix one teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of baking soda and massage the combination into your skin. Baking soda allows the mixture to become a more abrasive paste. Allow the mixture to sit on your scar for 3-4 minutes before rinsing it with warm water.
3. Consider aloe vera gel.
Aloe vera gel promotes skin regeneration by reducing inflammation and swelling. Use pure aloe vera gel straight from the plant for best results. Crack the leaves and apply them directly to your scar for 2-3 minutes daily.
4. Use a natural scar cream.
The above remedies will help with fresh, new scars. Another way to help naturally fade away scars, both new and old, is by using Zax’s Original Scar Fading Cream. This cream contains:
