Great skin is partially genetic but there’s a lot more to it than that. Have you ever noticed siblings where one has great skin and the other doesn’t? It’s proof positive that great skin comes with a little effort. And well, you’ve got to follow these important skin rules:

1. Don’t smoke.

Smoking will make you age faster than you can imagine on the inside and the outside not to mention that it makes your teeth turn yellow. If all else fails, let vanity be a driving factor to put an end to this disgusting habit. Enough said.

2. Wear SPF in your facial moisturizer.

SPF is the key to wrinkle resistance. Make sure you wear it each and every day by wearing a facial moisturizer with SPF. When you’re out in the sun for long periods of time wear SPF and continue to reapply every few hours.

3. Exercise often.

Exercise is a good detox method for the body’s cells including skin cells. Exercise delivers your skin with fresh oxygen.

4. Cleanse your skin.

Never sleep in makeup. It builds up on your pores and makes your skin look older. Cleanse your skin with a natural face wash at least once per day. Once in a while you may also want to take a break from makeup entirely.

Be gentle with your skin and nourish it daily. If you do, you’ll look and feel younger everyday.
